  Come mingle with other YPNGers while cleaning up the beach on Saturday, June 10th at 10am. We'll be meeting at Kraken beforehand so you can grab a coffee and chat with friends before we distribute gloves and trash bags and set you free to pick up trash on the beach! Register below if you plan on being there! This event is open to both members and non-members!

  Our monthly mixer is on Monday, June 12th from 5:30-7pm at Region, located right next to Hotel SLO. This event is open to both members and non-members to relax and socialize after the work day!
  
  Region now offers beer and cider along with their wines, and also serves food! Come hang out with fellow young professionals and meet some new friends!

  Join your fellow YPNGers as we volunteer at FirstFruits Farm, helping with activities such as planting, weeding, and/or fertilizing.   Come join us for a bonfire at the beach! On Saturday, July 22nd from 7-9pm, YPNG is hosting a Tiki themed night at Oceano Dunes. 

  Dress in your favorite tiki attire for a chance to win the prize for best dressed, and don't forget to bring a chair and blankets. Get ready for games, tiki-themed mock-tails, snacks, and good vibes as we gather around the fire and roast s'mores!

  Our YPNG Camping Trip will be hosted locally at El Chorro Regional Park from August 4-6th (Friday night through Sunday morning). You can sign up to either camp overnight on Friday and Saturday, OR if sleeping in a tent is not for you but you still want to have a good time, you can sign up for just Saturday (day activities + BBQ + bonfire). 

  What’s included with your registration:

  Camping Registration - $30

       - Campsite for Friday and Saturday night

       - Saturday lunch + BBQ dinner, snacks, s’mores

  Day Activities on Saturday - $15

       - Saturday BBQ dinner + nighttime snacks and s’mores

  
  

  Itinerary:

  Friday Evening: 

  • Arrive and set up camp
  • Campfire + Snacks

  
  

  Saturday: 

  • Morning Activities: Hiking, Botanical Garden, Picnic

  • Afternoon Activities: Sports (Kickball, Volleyball) + Games (Cornhole, Spikeball, etc), BBQ Dinner

  • Evening Activities: S’mores + Mock-tails, Campfire, Ghost Stories + Stargazing

  
  

  Sunday Morning:

  • Clean up camp and go home!

  
  

  FAQs

  What do I need to bring if I’m camping? You should bring a tent, sleeping bag, layered clothing. We'll send you a full packing list once we get a little closer to the trip! 

  
  

  Can I car-camp? Maybe! For now plan on tent camping, but let us know if you'd prefer to car-camp and we can see if we can make that happen! It depends on how many people register.
  

  
  

  Can I bring my pet? Maybe! Ask us first.

  
  

  Are there bathrooms on-site? Yes!

  
  

  Are campfires allowed? Maybe, depends on weather and seasonal restrictions.
